Goodbye to a sweet friend...

We had to say goodbye to our beloved Sadie yesterday afternoon (she had cancer-hemangiosarcoma). We are so very sad. At least she was able to pass peacefully--something for which I had prayed very hard. Our other dog, Pickles is just lost; eating exactly half of her food last night and not touching it this morning. She is searching everywhere for her buddy. We miss her so terribly.

I am working on paintings, but I can't seem to finish any of them. Eventually I will regain my bearings and have some up on Ebay.

Two small paintings have been listed starting at 10 bucks...

"Wheelie"

"Waiting for Supper at Mamaw's"

I'm ba-a-a-a-a-ck! (sort of)

I'm still recovering from surgery, but I've been drawing some over the past few days and think I might be able to get some painting done now that I am not so sore (I had major abdominal surgery...blech).

Hope to see you on Ebay in the next few days! :-)

to all who celebrate...

Millan.net

time flies...

and not always in a good way...

I am swamped right now trying to get everything tied up at work and elsewhere before I'm off for surgery.

I do have some "almost finished" paintings that I think I might be able to get up this weekend.

I hope you all had a nice Thanksgiving holiday :-) Not being the turkey-eating type, I had pizza and St. Theresa's Pale Ale!

peace...

a sneak peak at unfinished and in progress...

These should be ready soon and up for bids on Ebay. :-)

No paintings available after Dec. 10

I am going to undergo some major surgery in December, so I just wanted to let any Christmas shoppers know I'll be out of commission for a good bit of December. It will probably be mid to late January before I'm up and at the brushes again, but I hope I'll feel good enough to start being creative before then...

"Tea at 5 and 3/4" up for bids--no reserve

This is going to be a fun little series. Twelve-and-a-half will follow and I plan to do about six of them in all.

thank you...

Thank you all for all your wonderful support on Ebay. It's so exciting to connect with people through art. :-)

Painting is going at a slow pace right now. I have a billion sketches and underpaintings in progress and very little time. So, please be patient, there are many more paintings to come. I just need to carve out some time to get them done. I did get a little done on the 12 1/2 painting below, so that will probably be the next one you see--more than likely sometime later this week.

12 1/2...

The beginnings of a little 5 x 5 in. painting called "Twelve-and-a-Half"...more later.

Here are a couple of snapshots of items that will be coming up this week on Ebay. I will post notices here when they are available. :-)

What's up and ends Oct. 10?

That would be "Mealtime at Crazy Cat Lady's House - 2"...Part Deux if you will.

These hungry kitties are up on EBAY until Oct. 10

I will also be posting sneak peaks at stuff that is in the works on this blog!
